Looks great but has an issue

I purchased both the baby doll Pram Stroller as well as a pet carrier made by the same company. The set up for both was very similar. I found both models had the same issue. That is, you put a rod between the support legs. On the end of the rod, you snap the wheels on. I found that the rods were spaced too far apart. You couldn't snap the wheels on. I had to bend the support legs closer together so that the wheels could go on. With the baby stroller it was quite bad. I had to get a vice out to bend the legs together. This resulted in needing to bend a support rod in order to make it work. After all that, it looks good and largely functions well. On both, one wheel doesn't really spin. I was able to work around these issues, but it took some muscle, a vice and a little frustration. The problem really is the support rod that keeps the legs apart. I would probably have returned both. But these were Christmas presents for my daughters. So I had to make it work.
